WILDLIFE - DRAMATIC OIL

Breath on the Cold Ledge

Snow leopard crossing a snowy rock ledge. Painted in the dramatic wildlife oil tradition.

How this was made

This piece began with a written instruction alone, with no photograph. The instruction is kept, so the record is complete rather than flattering.

THE PROMPT AND THE SETTINGS

PROMPT

POSITIVE:
A dramatic wildlife oil painting of a snow leopard stepping across a rocky mountain ledge in falling snow, seen from a low viewpoint, its thick spotted coat catching cold side light against a dark blue-grey cliff. Visible confident brushwork and palette-knife texture in the rock, softer blended passages in the fur, pale breath in the cold air. Rich but restrained palette of warm greys, ochre and deep blue, gallery canvas feel. No text, no signature, no border.

NEGATIVE:
(none)
