Drawing Above the Fog
A figure drawing left exactly as drawn, standing on a dark outcrop above a sea of fog, dwarfed by an immense luminous sky.
Drawing in a Metaphysical Square
The same drawing set into a deserted arcaded piazza, long raking shadows across empty paving and a locomotive on the far horizon.
Drawing in the Carceri
The same drawing set inside a vast vaulted prison of impossible staircases and hanging chains, rendered in dense etching line.
